| Restoring Color This is an example of restoring a greatly faded
photo to original color and contrast as much as possible. Here some of the
colors were extrapolated from the edges of the photo which had been under
frame edges and therefore relatively preserved. Artistic manipulation was
performed in much of the detailing, and skin tones were created as per
client's remembrance. |
 | Ripped Stained & FadedThis is an example of an old poster which was ripped, stained and faded
to blue tones. Here the restoration required complete extrapolation of
missing parts with simulation of fonts. The final size was actually 11"x14"
though larger sizes were possible if desired by the client. Artistic
manipulation was performed in much of the detailing, and at request of the
client, the original fonts were standardized in the restoration so they would
match. |

| Missing PersonOften times there is a person missing from a photo, such as the one who took the picture! In this example, a member of a foursome had his pictue taken about the same time as the other three. The fourth person could then be added, recreating a proper placement (in this case behind a friend), sizing, shadowing and lighting to match the others. Of course, we can also remove an unwanted character!
