Before: The old white mat is big, dingy and distracting. After: We toned down the mat color so the sheep in the picture would pop. The fabric mats and filet add an elegance to the picture.
Before: The mat and frame are dark and overpower the picture. After: The frame and mat are lightened up and compliment the subject matter of the picture.
